Under Shepherd
A proud product of Alabama, Pastor Clauzell Holloway of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church Daphne, Alabama, hails from the small town of Fairhope, Alabama, where he developed a love in sense of compassion for others. Reared by his grandmother, the late Phinne Hunter the young Clauzell was taught the value of serving God, laying a foundation for the life and the ministry of a humble servant of God.
In 1985 Pastor Holloway was ordained as a Deacon at the New Era Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Byrant Faust. A year later God called Pastor Holloway to a greater assignment for the advancement of God's Kingdom. Go preach the Word Pastor Holloway kept hearing and the voice would not stop until he accepted God's call.
In the year of 1987, Pastor Holloway was ordained as minister at New Era Baptist Church. Shortly in his ministry God called him on an assignment as the Pastor of New Era Missionary Baptist Church in Fairhope, Alabama.
In Pastor Holloway's journey with Christ, God equipped him with the knowledge and understanding of his Word, by leading Pastor Holloway to study at EG White Seminary, placing him as under shepherd of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church in 1999.
Pastor Holloway is married to Minister Maryann Holloway. To their union was blessed with four children Cheryl, Tonya, Minister Chris, and Charlene. He is a man with a heart of serving God's people as he focuses on service and not popularity. A servant leader, Pastor Holloway visits the sick, counsels members privately, and greet members and visitors after each worship service.
In leading God's people, Pastor Holloway's main focus is knowing who you are in Christ. He primarily teaches about spiritual growth and serving God with a pure heart. Pastor Holloway's ministry is best described in Isaiah 61: 1-2, (NIV) "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn."
